Brazilian artists Iris Fuzaro and Erick Rosa present 7 Days × 7 Years, as part of KYOTOGRAPHIE’s KG+ program, bringing together two distinct perspectives on Japan.
What to expect
Originally presented in Tokyo, the exhibition explores the dialogue between fleeting impressions and long-term belonging. Iris captures the intensity of experiencing Japan over a seven-day journey, while Erick reflects on seven years of everyday life as a Tokyo resident.
Combining film and digital photography, projection, and a special sound art installation by Lucas Mayer — acclaimed Brazilian music producer, Emmy Award winner, and Grammy nominee — the show invites audiences to reflect on memory, time, and cultural perception.

About the Artists
- Iris Fuzaro is a photographer and film director from Brazil, now based in Los Angeles. With a nomadic spirit, she has visited over 40 countries, capturing the balance between universal connections and unique cultural details.
- Erick Rosa, from Rio de Janeiro, has lived in Tokyo for the past seven years after careers in São Paulo, Lisbon, and Singapore. Always carrying a pocket camera, Rosa’s practice is a constant exercise in remembering and never forgetting.
- Lucas Mayer is an Emmy-winning, Grammy-nominated Brazilian composer and music producer. He is the Founder and Creative Director of DaHouse Audio, with studios in Los Angeles, Berlin, São Paulo, and, more recently, Tokyo.
