Anime Fireworks near Mount Fuji

7:30pm – 8:30pm
¥9,000 – ¥100,000

Anime meets pyrotechnics in this fireworks spectacular near Mount Fuji.

What happens?

This event fuses two beloved cornerstones of Japanese culture: legendary anime and traditional fireworks. Think the goosebumps from a swelling anime theme song, now accompanied by choreographed pyrotechnics lighting up the night sky.

Curated in collaboration with a major anime production company, this event brings scenes, openings, and endings from classic anime of the 1970s to 1990s — generation-defining titles such as Astro Boy — into an immersive outdoor experience. Every firework burst is timed to beloved songs from series you probably wore out your VHS rewinding.

Tickets 2025

There are a number of ticketing options available. The cheapest option costs ¥9,000, which gets you a ticket for a designated block. However, you don’t get a specific reserved seat, so you’ll need to get there early to snag a good spot.

Meanwhile, a standard reserved seat costs ¥11,000 per person. For a proper panoramic view, the price goes up to ¥13,000. Both come with an original character cushion mat.

For a table that would seat up to four, the tickets cost ¥85,000, and go up to ¥0 for front row seats.
