This Belgian beer extravaganza takes place just a few minutes on foot from Kyoto Station.
What happens?
Sample dozens of Belgian beers in Kyoto. The ticket includes an original Belgian Beer Weekend glass.
How does it work?
You will need to purchase the Starter Set (¥3,700 in advance; ¥3,990 on the door) before you start knocking back the pints. The Starter Set will give you a unique glass — your companion for the festival — and 13 tokens. These tokens are then exchanged at the various stalls for the beer of your choice. One beer will cost you either two or three tokens, so choose wisely.
Another option is the Trial Set, which comes with eight tokens. It comes in a little cheaper at ¥2,700 (advance) or ¥2,840 (on the door).

The opening hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, the event goes from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., while on Mondays, the hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
