Are you a fan of the manga and anime Detective Conan? Pay a visit to this special exhibition in Osaka.

What to expect

This exhibition commemorates the 30th anniversary of the serialization of Detective Conan (known as Case Closed in English).

Taking place at Daimaru Museum Umeda from July 18 to August 14, the exhibition dives into six key themes that define the storyline and success of Detective Conan.

There will be photo spots and original illustrations by Gosho Aoyama, the writer of Detective Conan. You can also expect plenty of exclusive event merchandise.

Tickets

Purchase tickets online for general tickets. Note that for certain days you’ll need to get a time-specific ticket from Lawson instead.

Admission is free for preschool children, as long as they are accompanied by a guardian.

Concession tickets are available for elementary school students, junior high school students, high school students, university students, junior college students, and vocational school students. Note that visitors may be asked to present their student ID, so make sure to bring yours.

The museum is located at 15/F Daimaru Umeda Store, 3-1-1 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka. It is easily accessible by train.

  • 4-minute walk from Exit 17 of Umeda Station.
  • 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Nishi-Umeda Station.
  • 6-minute walk from Exit 1 at Higashi-Umeda Station.
