If you can’t make it to the Ghibli Park in Aichi, this Osaka exhibition offers the next best thing.
What to expect
The exhibition’s showstopper is a huge three-dimensional Haku in dragon form from Spirited Away.
There are also recreated scenes from Porco Rosso and When Marnie Was There, designed to be interactive photo spots.
Next up is Mini Ghibli Park, a life-size board game based on the park’s five areas. Move through the installation like a playing piece, discovering miniature buildings and taking part in activities along the way.
The Drawing Food section explores how Ghibli makes its animated meals look so realistic and tempting. Storyboards, background art, and three-dimensional displays offer a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process. Fans of My Neighbor Totoro will want to look out for a recreation of the Kusakabe family dining table.

Tickets 2026
Purchase tickets online through the official website (now on sale). Adult admission costs ¥1,900. Junior-high and high-school students pay ¥1,600, while tickets for children aged four through elementary-school age cost ¥1,000. Children aged three and under enter free.
Tickets are issued for a specific date and a 30-minute entry window. They are not sold at the exhibition entrance, so you will need to purchase one before heading to the venue.
There is no fixed viewing-time limit after entry, although individual sections may restrict the amount of time visitors can spend inside when the exhibition is busy.
How to get there
The venue is ATC Gallery in Osaka Nanko.
From Osaka Station, walk to Umeda Station and take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Hommachi Station.
At Hommachi, transfer to the Chuo Line and continue to Cosmosquare Station. From there, change to the New Tram and get off at Trade Center-mae Station.
ATC is directly connected to Trade Center-mae Station, so there is no long outdoor walk at the end of the journey. The full trip from Osaka Station takes approximately 40 to 50 minutes, depending on transfer times.
