It’s a riot of color over at Kuju Flower Park.
What happens?
Kuju Flower Park is well-known for its lavender display, but come fall, it features sweeping fields of orange marigolds.
Other floral favorites include feathery celosia or cockscombs, great bunches of garden mums, and over 300 varieties of autumn roses.

Last entry is at 5 p.m.
From October 5, join a park-wide “Trick or Treat” candy hunt, collecting sweets from four stops with a special Halloween bowl (¥500).
Seasonal food stalls serve color-changing sodas, pumpkin anko soft-serve, and savory meals like black curry and roast beef bowls.
Weekends bring extras like food trucks, Halloween wreath workshops, and tarot readings.

The admission fee for adults (high school students and above) is ¥1,300 and ¥500 for kids aged 5 and older.

Kuju Flower Park is about an hour away by car from Oita Station.
