Christmas may not be a public holiday in Japan, but Grand Front Osaka celebrates like it absolutely is.
What happens?
The centerpiece, the Winter Prism Tree, stands 11 meters tall beneath a 70-meter “veil of light” inspired by the northern lights. Every 15 minutes, the space erupts in a colorful light show set to original music, filling the atrium with shifting hues.
Schedule 2025
The light show begins at 4 p.m. on weekdays and a little earlier — from 3 p.m. on weekends and holidays — with lights continuing until midnight each night. You’ll find the display at Grand Front Osaka, in the North Building’s first-floor Knowledge Plaza.
