Japan’s largest ice cream festival is coming to Osaka.
What to expect
Say hello to dessert paradise. The Ice Cream Expo brings together top-tier soft serves, regional gelatos, and seasonal, trending flavors — all under one air-conditioned roof.
You’ll find soft serve made from -8°C pudding, topped with, of course, more pudding, Jersey milk ice cream farm-fresh from Hokkaido, pistachio parfait loaded with Sicilian nuts and crispy, shredded strands of filo, peach gelato from a Yamanashi orchard, and lots more.
And if you need a break from eating, there will be handmade ice cream-themed goods available for purchase.
Note that the expo is cashless.
Schedule 2025
The expo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On the first and final days, however, it will wrap up by 7 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.
How to get there
The venue is the 9th-floor event hall (Wing Building) of Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Department Store. From Osaka Station, take the Osaka Loop Line and alight at Tennōji Station. Then, it’s a 6-minute walk. The whole journey should not exceed 25 minutes.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
