See in the new year with a dazzling fusion of drones, lights, and live music in Kobe.
What happens?
Spend New Year’s Eve watching 2,025 drones light up the sky, creating intricate patterns and setting the scene for fireworks. This is Japan’s largest drone show to date — even surpassing the 1,824 drones at the Tokyo Olympics.
There will also be live music performances, a bubble show, and food and drink stalls open until late.
Schedule
- 21:00: Gates open
- 21:30–23:45: Live music performances (special ticket required)
- 23:00–23:30: Bubble show
- 23:50–00:10: Drone show featuring 2,025 drones and fireworks
- 21:00–02:00: Food, drink, and merchandise booths

Tickets
The countdown event will be held in the same area as Kobe Illuminage illuminations, but you’ll need to buy a special ticket for the New Year event. Get your tickets here (some include transfers from Osaka).

How to get there
From Kobe Station, take the JR Kobe Line to Sannomiya Station and transfer to the Kobe Electric Railway, riding to Okaba Station. From there, board the Shinki Bus No. 69 bound for Fruit Flower Park. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and you can alight at the Fruit Flower Park stop, just a short walk to the venue.
Alternatively, from Sannomiya Station, you can take the Shinki Bus No. 38 directly to Fruit Flower Park. This direct bus operates primarily on weekends and holidays, with a journey time of approximately 35 minutes.
