What to expect
Kyoto International Conference Center is going full Jurassic with the Kyoto Great Dinosaur Expo. Expect eight life-sized dinosaurs, including perennial favorites like Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops. Plus, find real fossils, hyper-realistic replicas, and immersive attractions (including a 3D theater).

The exhibition lasts one week, from August 10 to 17, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last entry is 4:30 p.m.
Tickets 2025
Advance tickets (on sale until August 9) cost ¥1,300 for adults and ¥700 for children aged 3 to elementary school, with a stamp book included. Same-day tickets are ¥1,600 for adults and ¥1,000 for children.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
