Traditional pyrotechnics meet cutting-edge drone technology — and a mascot cameo.

What to expect

Watch hundreds of illuminated drones dance across the sky in synchronized patterns, complemented by synchronized fireworks at Maishima Sports Island’s Sora no Hiroba. The organizers say there will be 2,000 drones and 10,000 fireworks launched in total.

Myaku-Myaku, the mascot of Osaka Expo 2025, will also have a cameo.

Schedule

The main show starts at 7 p.m. The event area, which will host plenty of food trucks, opens from 1 p.m.

Tickets

Tickets are required, and there’s no free viewing area. Reserve general admission seats (¥8,800) online here.

Other ticket types

SS seats cost ¥12,000, while S seats are ¥9,900 for adults and ¥6,600 for children. VIP-style tickets climb quickly: camera seats are ¥18,000, platinum seats are ¥20,000, VIP seats are ¥57,000 per adult, with VIP sofa seats from ¥250,000 per group.

Note that regular SS, S, and A ticket-holders also need a separate transport ticket. The shuttle bus from Cosmo Square is ¥2,500 for adults and ¥1,500 for children return, while access buses from major stations are ¥3,500 for adults and ¥2,500 for children return. The “walk from Yumeshima Station” option is limited to 3,000 people and comes with a ¥500 food coupon.

How to get there

Access is also a bit fiddly: general visitors will need to use the event shuttle/access buses or walk from Yumeshima Station.

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
