Illuminage will happen at two venues this year: Osaka and Kōbe.
Osaka Castle illumination
From Nov. 15 until Feb. 16, 2025, the iconic Osaka Castle will be lit up with neon lights. There will also be performances and music.
Tickets
Admission is ¥2,000 for adults and ¥1,000 for children. But you can get tickets for ¥1,300 when buying in advance.
There is also an express ticket for ¥500 more for quicker access.
Kōbe Illuminage
In Kōbe Fruit and Flower Park (quite far from Kōbe City but there are buses available), the Enchanted Ice Palace will be born. There will be a giant glowing snowman, sculptures, light shows, and more from Nov. 1 until Feb 16, 2025. Lights start from 5 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.
Tickets
Admission is ¥2,000 for adults and ¥1,000 for children. During Christmas (Dec. 23 to 25), tickets go up by ¥1,000. There are also express tickets for quicker access. Get your tickets here.
