Feast your eyes on more than one million nemophila flowers, also known as baby blue eyes, at Osaka Maishima Seaside Park.
What happens?
Two blues meet when a million nemophila flowers bloom in front of Osaka Bay. Depending on the time you go, there may also be some cherry blossoms and tulips to keep you company.
Apart from the flowers, there will be a wide choice of local and seasonal products to buy, including nemophila honey and ice cream in a well-suited color.
Tickets
Save ¥200 by buying early bird tickets before April 5 for ¥1,300. After that, entry costs ¥1,500 for adults and ¥500 for children aged 4 to 12.
The park opens from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekends.
How to get there
The venue can be reached by bus from either Cosmosquare Station on the Osaka Metro or from Sakurajima Station on the Sakurajima Line. During the festival, you can also get a shuttle cruise from Universal City Port.
