Stay warm this winter by riding the Osaka Wheel and enjoy oden, sake, and spectacular views.

Lucky for us, the Osaka Wheel brings back its unique seasonal experience: the Sky Kotatsu Ferris Wheel.
From December 2, 2024, to February 28, 2025, you can ride gondolas equipped with kotatsu, a traditional Japanese heated table with a quilted blanket used to keep warm during the colder months. As you enjoy an 18-minute loop, you’ll also be served oden, a classic winter dish made of ingredients like radish, fishcakes, and boiled eggs simmered in a light broth.
Styled with retro Showa-era charm, the gondolas offer a cozy space to enjoy panoramic views of Osaka. Alongside the warm oden, you can sip on Kuromatsu Kenbishi, a sake brewed since 1505 by Kenbishi Sake Brewery. For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, soft drinks are also available.
Tickets
Fare options:
- One lap (18 minutes) with oden: ¥1,600/person
- One lap with oden + hot sake: ¥2,100/person (includes a complimentary sake cup)
- Two laps (36 minutes) with oden: ¥2,300/person
- Two laps with oden + hot sake: ¥2,600/person
How to get there
From Osaka Station, take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Senri-Chuo Station – this takes about 15 minutes. At Senri-Chuo, transfer to the Osaka Monorail and take the 5-minute ride to Bampaku-kinen-koen Station (Expo’70 Commemorative Park Station). It is then a short walk to the Osaka Wheel, which is located at EXPOCITY.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
