Southern Kyoto’s Jōyō City transforms into a luminous wonderland, bringing festive cheer to brighten winter nights.
What happens?
Twinkle Jōyō is a massive illumination event in southern Kyoto, with over 650,000 lights across LOGOS LAND, a family-friendly park spanning nine hectares.
The main attraction is a 10-metre-tall illuminated tree. Additional decorations include large message panels and whimsical art depicting amabie — a mythical Japanese spirit believed to help ward off plagues.
