The terminus of the Randen train-line, this station has it’s own foot bath, kimono-fabric display and food stalls! There are a host of small shops and stalls located just inside the station and space outdoors to sit and enjoy a treat. The foot bath is back past the platforms in the center, as is the Kimono forest. When you head out, you’ll find Tenryuji and the bamboo forest pretty much straight ahead and the Katsura river to you left. Don’t confuse this station with the Hankyu-line Arashiyama station, which is the other side of the river.
