A museum dedicated to the vast variety of dolls in Japan, from ceremonial to playful.
Holding a collection of traditional and contemporary dolls, this museum has an impressive array of delicately painted dolls. Used throughout Japanese culture for different celebrations and ceremonies, the dolls are lovingly crafted and beautiful to look at. From delicate Hina Matsuri (Girls Day) Dolls to Gogatsu (warrior) Dolls, you can see dozens of designs, all in the peaceful surroundings of a traditional teahouse building. There is a free cup of green tea on entry and you can explore the museum to your hearts content.
