The Hiroshima Peace Memorial, commonly known as the A-Bomb Dome, is the ruin of the Hiroshima Prefectural Products Exhibition Hall which was destroyed as a result of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
