A stunning beach with unusual rock formations, Jodogahama has spots to relax, swim and explore by boat. The beach name means Pure Land or Paradise and was given by Buddhist Monk Reiko who found the area centuries ago. Busses are available from Miyako Station twice an hour and extra shuttle busses are available during peak months.
