The Nishi Tea House District is a small street of well preserved tea houses which are frequented by Geisha to the west of the Sai River.
The street is a relatively long way from central Kanazawa, but it’s only a 5 minute walk from the Ninja Temple, so if you’re in the area, it may be worth a look.
The Higashi Chaya District and the Kazue-machi Chaya District near the Asano River are more impressive.
