Nishi Chaya Shiryokan Museum

Small but also free, this museum focuses on the life and exploits of novelist Shimada Seijiro as well as having a geisha guest room on the second floor.

Unfortunately most of the information available downstairs is in Japanese, but the pretty garden and upstairs rooms are worth popping in for. Next door the unusual blue building is a geisha training house, so keep an eye and ear out incase you see them hard at work.
