A tea wholesaler and confectionery retailer in Kyoto that has been running since the latter half of the Meiji era.

Rokkaku Chikiriya aims to create a communal space where visitors can enjoy tea in a peaceful, casual setting.
The first floor offers a selection of teas including matcha, sencha, gyokuro, and hōjicha — ranging from everyday drinking teas to those suited for special occasions. You’ll also find tools here to help you make the perfect cup of tea.
On the second floor, there is a “sweets parlor” (café) where you can indulge in tea-based parfaits and other traditional desserts.
If you aren’t feeling too hungry, you can simply order a matcha float or Vienna latte (matcha latte topped with whipped cream). Prices start from ¥650.
