A simple hot spring located at the foot of the Inari Shrine steps, the local baths offer a place to soak after an admittedly short walk.
36.485573If you’re not staying the night in a local ryokan, this is a great way to take a dip in the local waters. Offering an indoor and outdoor option, it’s a pretty simple affair – no soap or shampoo provided, but towels and amenities available for a small charge if you don’t have your own. The staff are friendly and tattoos didn’t seem to be an issue, which is always a nice bonus. Entry for one adult is ¥380 but remember some extra change for towels and soap if you don’t have your own kit with you.
There is a footbath just across the steps if you would rather dip your toes!
