One of Japan’s favorite family-restaurant chains has a location at Kansai International Airport. With some airport-exclusive menu items and traditional Japanese motifs decorating the walls, it’s an affordable and rather nice spot to eat before you board your flight.

What’s Coco’s Airport Dining?

Located on the 1F of Terminal 2, Coco’s Airport Dining offers a range of cuisine — from traditional Japanese to Western and Chinese. Although most famous for their foil-wrapped hamburg steaks, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Other options include pasta and ramen — just to name a couple. On our visit, we tried the Taco Salad, which was jolly good.

There’s also a drink bar with free refills, and some take-out menu items are available. Everything is pretty light on the wallet.

What also makes this Coco’s cool is that the walls are covered in classic Japanese illustrations. For instance, a picture of Fujin and Raijin, the wind and thunder gods, greet you at the entrance and wish you a safe flight. Thanks, guys.
