This cozy bistro serves wood-fired pizzas, juicy steaks, and shareable tapas-style plates, providing the ideal backdrop for an upscale dinner out.

What’s Milk & Beer Hall Tsukumo?

At this stylish Spanish bar, you can sample local ingredients in pizzas, pastas, and other smaller dishes. When we asked for a recommendation, they said the shirasu (whitebait) pizza or pasta was a top pick. However, the garlic prawns took our fancy. Served with bread and cooked in an oily garlic sauce, these fresh prawns were soft and full of flavor. Expect to pay anywhere from ¥660 for appetizers and ¥1,380 to ¥4,420 for mains.

As well as its curated menu, this bar is also known for serving local craft beers and a variety of wines. Other alcoholic drinks include sake and shochu (a distilled Japanese spirit). Drinks start from ¥900.

We went for a caffeine kick by ordering a cappuccino, and had hoped it would come with some fun panda latte art, which we saw photos of online. We weren’t in luck this time, but we still got a perfect latte heart.
