This casual yet contemporary restaurant has a variety of teishoku (set meals) to choose from. Some of the most notable include steamed seasonal vegetables and pork, tempura, and one of this writer’s personal favorites — the fried-chicken set meal with black vinegar sauce. These sets start from ¥1,480.

For something a bit more special, and closer to traditional obanzai style, there is the Minoru-Zen Set. For ¥2,530, you can savor 12 different small dishes which include beef, fish, seasonal vegetables, rice, and miso — just to name a few.

Complete your meal with some sake — they offer a tasting set with three types for ¥750 or six types for ¥1,500.

They also offer a happy hour set from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m for ¥1,000.
