Vermillion Cafe is a great spot to grab a light meal and coffee right by Fushimi Inari Shrine.
The café serves a small range of light meals, with offerings like smashed avocado on toast and hummus with seasonal vegetables. The menu changes every so often, but there is always at least one vegan or vegetarian option. They also have cakes and sweets, and have Australian-style coffee (yes, they have flat whites).
We recomend getting a seat on the terrace if you can. There’s a lovely view out over a pond, and it’s especially pretty and peaceful in fall.
