Yasubei is a no-frills izakaya in the hot-spring town of Shuzenji.
This Japanese restaurant serves regional specialties like fresh sashimi and grilled riverfish known as amago. You can also try local sake here, including kotsu-zake, a traditional Japanese alcohol made with charred fish bones.
Expect to pay around ¥2,000 per person without alcohol. There is an English menu available.

Yasubei is a short walk from the main town area of Shuzenji.
If you’re coming from Shuzenji Station, the nearest bus stop is Miyukibashi (みゆき橋). From there, it’s a 3-minute walk.
