Dazaifu Tenmangu is a stunnning Shinto Shrine just outside Fukuoka in southern Japan, shown in its full glory here using the latest 4k technology. The shrine was founded in 905 after a prominent scholar, Sugawara no Michizane, was buried there in unusual circumstances. The shrine attracts more than 7 million people each year and to tempt more, this video from Dazaifu City includes festivals, daily life and the beautiful surroundings to tempt more people over.
