Kobe’s autumn foliage is a sight to behold, and the Kobe Municipal Arboretum offers a unique experience to immerse yourself in this seasonal splendor.
What happens?
At the Kobe Municipal Arboretum (Botanical Garden), autumn sweeps in a touch sooner than down in Kobe city, giving you an early chance to catch those reds and yellows. The garden is a kaleidoscope of Japanese maples and other vibrant trees.
On weekends and holidays, you can join a Maple Walk, a guided stroll led by knowledgeable staff. As evening falls, the illuminations begin, transforming the trees into glowing masterpieces.
