This is the perfect place for flower enthusiasts.
What happens?
42 participating locations around Lake Hamana come together to showcase Japan’s seasonal charm. Under the theme “Spring in Japan Starts at Lake Hamana”, visitors can enjoy a stunning floral display across 18 renowned flower spots, including Hamamatsu Flower Park.
Schedule 2025
During peak blooming seasons, the park extends its hours for illuminated night views of cherry blossoms (late March to early April) and wisteria (late April to early May). Visitors who enter during the day can stay for the night viewing at no extra charge unless they leave and re-enter. The exact dates have not been announced yet and will be determined based on the flowering condition.
On Saturday, June 7, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., enjoy a grand finale with Japanese drum performances and hand-held fireworks at the south side of the fountain pond. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to June 8.
Tickets 2025
Admission fees range from ¥800 to ¥1,000 for high school students and adults and ¥400 to ¥500 for elementary and junior high school students. Preschool children enter for free. Fees vary based on the state of blooming flowers.
