A winter illumination event that makes the most of its surroundings, prepare to see the famous Tower of the Sun sculpture in a whole new light. Held annually and timed to coincide with the Ramen expo, this huge LED illumination and light-mapping display makes for a great night out just a short train ride away from Osaka. The event will take place on sepcific weekend dates:
December 1st – 2nd, 7th – 9th, 14th – 16th and 21st to 25th. On Christmas Day there will only be the illumination. The lights will begin at 5pm each day and you can enter from 4.30pm at the central gates. After paying entry to the Natural cultural park, the illuminations are free.
