Professional artists from the renowned Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra are coming to Japan. Join them as they wow audiences with a refreshing take on the classics.
Jörgen van Rijen — principal trombonist in the Royal Concertgebouw — heads the group while the Alma Quartet accompanies him as the string quartet.
What to expect
This ensemble is one of a kind. The combination of instruments is unconventional — it’s not too often you see the trombone star — and the use of electronics in classical music elevates the sound to a new level. You won’t see this type of performance anywhere else. Hear a sample below.
Tickets
Entry is ¥5,000 for adults or ¥1,000 for under 18s. You can buy your tickets here. The ensemble is also playing in Aichi on July 17.
