Two have become one for this year’s fireworks festival in Gifu.
What happens?
What was once two festivals (Nagara River Chunichi Fireworks Festival and Nagaragawa National Fireworks Festival) held one week apart have — perhaps sensibly — joined forces to become the Gifu Nagara River Fireworks Festival.
Tickets
To enter the main viewing areas, you will need a paid ticket. These start at ¥4,000 for unreserved seating and go up to ¥30,000 for luxury reserved seating. Tickets are available both online and at 7-Eleven and will be on sale from July 10.
