Set along Osaka Bay, this art fireworks event isn’t just any typical pyrotechnics show. It showcases meticulously synchronized fireworks choreographed to music, lighting up the sky with intricate patterns and vibrant colors. The show unfolds over the stunning backdrop of the bay, providing a mesmerizing spectacle that feels more like a massive open-air performance than a traditional fireworks display. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, October 31. Gates open at 2 p.m. and the fireworks start at around 6 p.m.
Tickets
Worth knowing before you plan around it: every seat here is paid, and the organizers state that without a ticket you cannot enter the venue area at all. There is no free viewing spot. Seats start at ¥7,000 for a Gororo chair seat on the Marble Beach side, with box, table and bungalow options running well above that. Tickets are also sold through KKday.
Tickets are required for elementary school children and above, while preschoolers go free unless they need their own seat. After booking, you’ll receive a PDF voucher with a QR code and seat number. Make sure to save the voucher on your device or print it, as the venue’s internet connection may be unstable. Seat numbers cannot be specified.
How to get there
The event venue, a designated site in Rinku Park, is located about a 10-minute walk from Nankai/JR Rinku Town Station.
