ROHM Illumination

4:45pm – 10:00pm
Free

This is Kyoto’s largest illumination with over 860,000 lights and some stunning spaces. Highlights include the well-known pair of Yamamomo trees which mark the entrance to the glowing tree-lined avenue and the Ensemble of Light. There are music performances and a screen show – all in Nagura Park close to the ROHM company headquarters. The event has been held since 1995 and gets bigger every year.
