Dive into summer fun at the Shin-Umeda City Summer Festival in Osaka.
What happens?
This summer, the Umeda Sky Building offers a delightful mix of traditional and modern activities. From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., experience the charm of Japanese summer with Bon Odori dances, kids’ games, and a Doctor Yellow mini-Shinkansen ride.
The festival is held in Wonder Square on the first floor of the building. There will be balloon art, traditional food stalls, and workshops, making it a perfect outing for families.
Schedule 2024
- 15:00 onwards: Children’s games, food stalls, and Doctor Yellow rides begin
- 17:00–17:30: Balloon art show
- 17:30–18:00: Children’s Bon dance
- 18:20–18:40: Owara Kaze-no-bon dance performance
- 18:40–19:00: Daimin Yasaka Shrine festival music
- 19:00–21:00: Folk and Bon dance
Note that rides on Doctor Yellow will stop at 8 p.m.
Tickets
Admission is free. The Doctor Yellow ride costs ¥300 per ride.
