This is Osaka’s answer to Tokushima’s famous dance fest.
What happens?
Every summer, the longest shopping street in Japan turns into a stage for Kansai’s biggest Awa Odori event. The Tenjin Tenma Awa Odori brings the spirit of Tokushima’s legendary dance festival to central Osaka, with rhythmic performances by the Kansai Awa Odori Association, live music, and pop-up food stalls.
