A museum dedicated to 17 notable individuals from Kanazawa (all men, ahem…) who have contributed to modern Japan.

While they are notable and there is an English pamphlet, none of the displays have English explanations, so the average tourist may be left wanting for context.

Admission is free with the Kanazawa City Cultural Facilities Admission Pass.

Go Zen: 1-Day Nagano Tour with Snow Monkeys, Sake and Zenkōji Temple
Nagano is far more than just a skiing destination, and this tour proves it. From sacred sites to bathing snow monkeys, sake tasting and local delicacies, experience the best this snowy prefecture has to offer.

Only really worth a stop if you need to get out of the frequent Kanazawa rain or if you’re collecting stamps on the museum stamp rally attached to the aforementioned pass.
