A small rural temple covered in protective glass, this area has an abandoned feel to it.
It isn’t of course – it’s a few steps from the local hot spring – but the trees surrounding it and the moss-covered statues give it an almost eerie feel, assuming you don’t see any locals visiting while you’re there. Close to the temple is a re-opened path leading through the forest, but there is only a regular road at the top (and it’s quite steep). The rest wil one day be opened, potentially, but it does make for a nice walk if you have time to kill (or a footbath to warrant).
