The Kihoin Shushukan is part of the complex of the southernmost temple of Japan. It displays around 4000 artefacts of the island’s crafts, from torture tools to the only tax scales left in Japan. They explain the Island funeral ceremony as well as currency and dialects on the island, although there is not much information in English.
