What is River Terrace Suginoyu?
Free to use and seating up 10 people at a time, this footbath gives you views of the main symbols of Shuzenji, including Tokko-no-Yu and Shuzenji Temple in the distance. Next to the water is a tree that blooms with sakura in spring, making it a brilliant spot to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty.
After soaking your feet here, you can visit Kawara Yu, another free ashiyu that is located across the river.

How to get there
From Shuzenji Station, take the bus going towards Shuzenji Onsen. Get off at the Shuzenji Onsen stop and walk 4 minutes. The journey takes 12 minutes and costs ¥260.
