Once the city’s train station, this is now a small hub just outside the main center of the town.

Home to a tourist information office with multilingual staff, a gift shop, a community center and a curry restaurants, it’s a good place to start your day in Wajima. They offer travel advice, rental bikes, luggage storage and lockers too. Parts of the old station have been maintained, including the platform, signals and old sign, which is pretty sweet. The main building is a community center, so there are plenty of people milling about and it’s included on the regular bus routes too.
