A coffee shop with delicious cakes, Dumbo is ideal for a stop-off during your Samurai District explorations.
Deceptively small-looking, it actually has a spacious second-floor with plenty of seats and sofas to relax on, plus a few window seats to people-watch from. The menu is mainly cakes, with a few savoury options like toasties in case you need a bit more of a pick-me-up. They use specially selected coffee beans and offer all the usual plus some more unusual options for your caffeine hit, as well as teas and chai lattes (or course). It’s a pretty small and friendly enterprise, and since everything is made properly, it can take a little longer than usual to get our order to you (especially if it’s a busy) but the quality makes it worth it – plus the staff are lovely (and the cakes are worth the wait!).
Check their (very tempting) Instagram for special opening hours – they do a calendar post each month!
