Nagoya City Art Museum is an art gallery in Nagoya, located near the Nagoya City Science Museum. The museum designed by the famous architect Kishu Kurokawa and opened in 1988. It houses over 5000 artworks fom both Japanese and international artists, including 1200 that are part of the permanent exhibition. There is also a small café, library, and a museum shop. Tickets cost for adults, for university and high school students, and is free for junior high school students and younger.
