Immerse yourself in traditional Japanese culture by learning how to play the koto — Japan’s national instrument. In this workshop, you’ll learn from a professional koto instructor, in a beautiful wooden house that dates back over 100 years.

The koto is a long Japanese zither, which has 13 strings and small movable bridges. It is the national instrument of Japan and was traditionally played as a form of entertainment. Participating in this lesson means that you will get to experience firsthand an important part of Japan’s traditional culture.
