Located in the heart of the quaint onsen village of Yufuin in Oita, Hinoharu Ryokan offers guests the chance to soak in beautifully landscaped onsen hot pools in a peaceful, refined atmosphere.
Established almost 100 years ago, the current buildings date from a complete rebuild in the year 2000.
The ryokan has two separate onsen pools for men and women as well as a pool that can be reserved privately for couples or families. Additionally, two of the rooms have rotenburo – open air baths attached to the room.
The entrance to Hinoharu is just a stone’s throw from Tsubonoyu Kaido – an historic street lined with an interesting variety of shops and restaurants.
