Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki is known for going big with seasonal events, and autumn means one thing: Halloween.
What happens?
Celebrate spooky season against the backdrop of a faux European palace. Haunted Halloween at Huis Ten Bosch is back with fireworks and an abundance of sinister figures.
Each evening from 6 p.m., costumed “messengers of darkness” lurk across the palace lawns, with creepy clown Killer J and other ghoulish characters making an appearance. Plus, there will be a dance show set to eerie music.
But it’s not all jump scares. Ghost Miffy is on hand for meet-and-greets, and a Halloween parade arrives just in time to keep little ones focused on something adorable — rather than genuinely terrifying.
