The Mount Fuji (Mt. Fuji) International Marathon is a great opportunity to see one of the most famous mountains in the world framed by the beauty of a Japanese autumn.

Entry

Entry usually starts early in June and ends in late September. Entry prices are between ¥10,900 and ¥25,000. A little high, but that gets you a medal shaped like Fuji-san when you finish.

Course

The course starts and ends at the Funatsu Parking Lot near Kawaguchiko Station. The route has you run a loop around the two major lakes in the area: Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Saiko. There is one steep incline just before you descend in to the Lake Saiko area.
