Christmas makes its way to Universal Studios Japan, also known as USJ.
Pro tip: Here’s more information on getting the most out of your Universal Studios Japan trip.
What happens?
The whole of the park will get a blanket of festive fun.
The big show is Light Up the Night: Christmas Celebration, a new nighttime spectacular that crams in everything short of actual reindeer. Expect singers, dancers, snow effects, and a symphony of lights timed to a heart-swelling soundtrack.
Over in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Hogwarts Magical Night – Winter Magic returns to drape the castle in snow and spells, complete with owl post deliveries and very jolly snowmen. Muggles can wander through the Hogwarts Castle Walk, peeking into talking-portrait corridors and Dumbledore’s griffin-guarded office.
The Christmas Food Festival (Nov. 4–Jan. 4) turns the park into a giant street market: steaming soup, mulled wine, and limited-edition desserts shaped like park mascots. Between bites, you’ll stumble across the Power of Rock: Holidays are Rockin’ stage show and the Minions Jingle Bello Meet & Greet — pretty self-explanatory, we think.

Tickets are limited and lines are bound to be long, so it’s recommended you get your park tickets in advance.
